Really pleased with my recent purchase. Wonderful fit for my very deep chested Friesian and cob. Just in time for the torrential rain. Horses remaining dry and not overheating. Great natural materials and well made.

i just love these rugs! i tagged you on facebook! my bay qh is 14 hands and stocky, i got him the 4.3, its perfect! and my paint roan, a mixed breed is 14.1 but super short backed and no chest, i got him the 4.0 its perfect! i also added a polo/eventing overgirth for both horses so they would have a belly strap! the leg straps are softer than any other blankets! thanks animac!👏🏽👏🏽🎉🩵
We were looking for a wool lined blanket, wanted something that would fit our winter sometimes wet conditions in Alberta, Canada, had to go out of Canada to find one, excellent price, was worth the shipping cost. Was a little concerned if would fit properly, since we knew we wouldn't return/exchange, due to shipping cost, etc. Followed your measurements, measured more than once, and they fit will work perfectly. More than happy with them, fit. etc.

Bestellung und Lieferung haben gut funktioniert. Die Decke ist von sehr guter, schwerer Qualität und hat einen verstellbaren Verschluss am Bug. Die Fertigung ist in allen Details sehr robust, praktisch unzerstörbar. Da keine Bauchgurte vorhanden sind, gibt es kein Risiko, dass die Decke oder das Pferd beim Aufstehen Schaden nehmen können.Die Größe 6'0 passt meiner zierlichen Holsteiner Stute mit kurzem Rücken, Stockmaß 164cn, perfekt . Harley, 15.3hh, Connemara. Ordered the 5ft on the advice of customer service. A little short & could do with a longer tail flap. Wore it for the 1st time last night as the temperature dropped. It had slipped slightly to one side but Not terrifically. Haven’t used the neck as yet. Horse felt fine this morning & have left on as it’s sunny but not overly warm. Overall pleased, though unsure if I’d leave him in it in absolute downpours, despite using only NZ rugs 40 years ago I’d probably still prefer to put a rain sheet over the top

Store owner replied: Hi Maxine, thanks for taking the time to review and post all the pictures. I agree if you are expecting a heavy downpour then using an old rain sheet ontop is the way to go. You can get these really waterproof by applying extra layers of proofer along the back but its much easier if you have an old rain sheet spare to use that until the heavy rain has passed.
I'm floored. I ordered these March 20 at 11am at and it was delivered on March 21 at 9am. WOW. Absolutely incredible delivery time- eat your heart out amazon! The blankets are fantastic and I can tell my girls are enjoying them. They're new to the English weather, and have just arrived from our household move from Florida, and it's been an adjustment period for them (though they've done impressively well and are loving the English grazing). They fit fantastic- you do have to ensure the leg straps are pretty short, but not snug, or it will end up cattywompus after a good roll. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. The blankets are super affordable in comparison to other rugs and I feel like these are built to last a hell of a lot longer. All I needed was a good, breathable layer of insulation and waterproofing to give my girls that extra layer, the kind that comes on cobs by default (which they mostly lack), and the wool and canvas does that splendidly.
Brought the rug for my daughters Cob x Clydesdale that is a big rug trasher! The rug is currently still in one piece compared to the 4 rugs that he has gone through.
This 6' coat is modeled by a 15.1 Tennessee Walking Horse who is a very cobby shape. I love the neck cut on this blanket. Perfect!
These coats are the 5'9. We put them on a 14.1h (bay) Arab gelding and a 14.3h (gray) Arab gelding. Both are totally different shapes, but the blanket is a great fit on both. My only suggestion is a little bit smaller neck cut.

Great well made rugs. Bought as an alternative for a horse that has got its back leg caught in rug belly straps twice. I assume the canvas is heavy to help with self-righting of the rug but would prefer one slightly less heavy.

Store owner replied: Hi Jane, you are right regarding the weight of the canvas in terms of self-righting and general fit. We can get lighter canvas, which is more suited to summer and generally has a higher cotton content. We have gone for this weight to maximise strength while not being too warm it can only be used in winter. It is heavier than your 'regular' rugs, but the weight is no problem for your horse. Hopefully the breathability and durability makes up for the extra weight.
Really happy with the rug, my only comment is it seems to be a little short in length for a true 6ft rug. Purchased for a 15.1 ex racehorse who sweats under the thinnest of synthetic rugs. Now he is always dry on the inside, even in the heaviest rain. Delighted I was able to purchase a new canvas rug in the UK...canvas and wool are the original thermodynamic material!

Store owner replied: Hi Elinor, Thanks for the review. I would have suggested a 6'3 (NZ 4'9) for a 15.1 but I am aware conversions from NZ to UK sizing can differ between brands. We did not have any 6'3 in stock at the time of your order but we are due some more any day now. If you want to swap a size up that wont be a problem. Thanks again, Nathan.
Been trying to find a proper nz cover for my destroyer of a cob and this cover was very reasonably priced, came so swiftly and I had a code for a free neck cover. It fits really well and the blanket lining keeps her warm even though she is clipped out.
Really pleased with the quality and fit , I have an American Quarter Horse It’s really rained recently and my horse was bone dry ! Would definitely recommend
