Good quality and good fitting rugs
Excellent fit. Great to keep our recently shorn sheep warm and dry until the weather warms up.
We bought the 3 coats for our Black Nose Swiss Valais Sheep Nathan was very helpful in assisting with measuring as we had to measure when they still had their huge fleeces ! We shall definitely buy again when we add to our flock, very comfy & warm for this time of year
A really great rug with loads of adjustment and high quality straps and buckles. It’s kept our little Llynn girl Trinny. She lost her fleece and this has been fantastic for keeping her warm and dry. The rain has been torrential the last week and this has done the job!! Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Lovely jacket, it hasn’t slipped to one side or anything. I thought it would help my oldest ewe stay cosy for the winter and my how happy she is with it! Took the other sheep a bit to get used to the colour change but all is well now 😆
Ninja in her drying rug all bathed getting ready for local show her friend nibbles has the small size and it also fits our Shetland gimmers very versatile rug thanks again 🐑
Our little pet Oussant cross loved his new coat . He needed it as it was so cold after shearing. It fits him beautifully and does not move. It also enabled me to sleep at night without worrying about him! He does have a house too but still needed more warmth. Perfect! Thank you
Great coat for my show tup
Used for my shearling coloured ryelands. Most are wearing a large but I have one petite girl in a medium. They keep them toasty warm, stay in place well and stop me feeling guilty about clipping so early for the shows. The customer support has also been excellent especially when I had a couple of queries.
Bought for 13yr old sheep, worn in the pouring rain and stayed completely dry. Fits well, easy to put on.
Bob is our elderly Soay wether. Soays self shed but Bob’s new fleece isn’t growing through like it should as he’s so old and now he has bald patches. The coat is brilliant for him, keeping him dry and warm. The rest of the flock didn’t like the coat to start with but got used to it after a couple of days. The coat would get 5 * if the front fastening was more adjustable. Bob is quite narrow so it gapes a bit at his chest, but the coat hasn’t moved so I’m quite impressed.
I could not be happier with this jacket. This mama is an eight-year-old Katahdin Who has become a bit frail. With temperature temperature is below zero Fahrenheit I wanted to give her a little extra support and the jacket has been great. This is a large and this girl weighs about 140 pounds. It may just be coincidence, but since putting the jacket on her she has really perked up. It has been on for 10 days and I have not had to adjust once. Excellent product. Thanks!
Was bought to put on a lamb that needed shearing. Fits perfectly and is easy enough for others who aren’t used to putting coats/rugs on as the strap as colour matched to the clips. 10/10

Bought the jacket for an older sheep brilliant as it’s proper waterproof keeping her dry and warm.
We have two older ladies (13 year old, Easy Care sheep) that needed a little help in the colder weather as they have a bit of arthritis. At first, they were unsure of the new jackets and their new look spooked the other sheep, but within half an hour they were fine and the other sheep accepted them again. The jackets fit perfectly and are great quality.
Bought medium coat for my 12 year old Shetland Ewe. Last winter she was very vulnerable to the cold and wet and lost a lot of condition. She has taken to her new coat quickly and looks very happy even after recent storms. I check the Velcro fasteners at the front regularly as they won’t tighten up any further but otherwise coat covers her well.

We brought this coat for our youngest angora goat Ivor. It is excellent and keeping him warm and dry. The quality is so good, along with the fastenings which make it very easy to put on and off. I highly recommend Animac coats.

This is Twiggy. She is a three year old Texel cross from New Zealand. She loves her new waterproof coat. Twiggy got pneumonia last year and it has left her lungs weak, so if she gets wet and then cold, she gets sick. We bought her the coat to help keep her dry. It has been brilliant - even through heavy overnight rain it has kept her dry and warm. Would totally recommend. Thanks so much.
Softy (pale self coloured) is a large, laid back, friendly, 15 year old Soay wether with an arthritic shoulder and is on anti-inflammatories and being treated by a veterinary physiotherapist. The coat is helping the shoulder stay mobile. He has been wearing it for a couple of weeks, and his posture is better, less hunched. One of his companions, Wafer, a 14 year old dark Soay ewe with white patches has her own coat too, to keep her warm and dry while grazing and to help with her pulled muscle in her hip. They took some days to get used to the coats, but they are helping.
A perfect fit for one of my rescue girls that has lost some weight and needs help to stay warm … Will be buying more for a few friends
Bought for a 3 year old wether Shetland as he has never had a good coat like the others and although they are very hardy, in very bad cold conditions high up where we are he needed an extra layer. One very happy Shetland. Only problem is that although the belly straps are very adjustable and are great, the front one really isn't much at all so unless the animal you want it for is quite broad across the front you'll have to adapt it. A more adjustable buckle on the front like the others would make it a much better fit and more useful for a lot of animals.
We had a young ram lamb that was ill and after it recovered all its fleece fell of and it turned frostie so we bought this coat. It does the job beautifully although the other sheep would not go near him to start with but are all friends now. Very pleased with it .
Here we have Dexter, our six and a half year old Suffolk x Texel, and Billy, our five and a half year old Zwartbles x Texel Mule, rocking their AniMac rugs. Both these boys suffer with chronic health issues, with Billy being on palliative care for liver disease, so having rugs makes such a difference to them in the cold and wet months! The rugs fit beautifully and keep our special boys warm and dry!

We have a sheep who is 19 years old with very little fleece. We chose the medium animal which you can see is a little short in the body but Jack is very happy in his new ensemble. It keeps him dry and warm. We have also bought a rams AniMac as that is a step in size and will let you know how that goes. The ordering and service was easy and efficient. Very pleased with this rug, excellent quality…. Fits really well and will give my sheep protection from the weather after having his fleece shorn off due to fly strike. Took him approx 30mins to get used to it. Very happy with my purchase 👍🏻
Our little lamb got a fever and lost all his fleece…not good just as we are going into winter! So decided to try a coat on him and it has been amazing, he has started to gain weight and his fleece is growing back evenly….one happy little sheep 🥰 I would recommend this rug as it’s very well made and fits lovely. It hasn’t rubbed at all and kept him warm and dry.
I bought the 28" rugs for my pet Swiss Valais boys after their 2nd shear of the year. They were too big so I've washed them & put them away for when they're grown up. I now have the 24" which fit perfectly. They look amazing, incredibly cute, warm and fit perfectly. I highly recommend these rugs, the quality and look of the rugs are perfect!
