New Zealand Canvas Rugs with natural wool linings are the original turnout rugs - world-renowned for being functional and hard-wearing for over 50 years.

Purposefully designed down-under to assist horses in regulating their temperature thanks to 18oz Ripstop Canvas for strength and breathability, a traditional wax proofing and cosy wool lining, the AniMac Canvas Turnout Rug is ideal for Autumn and Spring weather. 

While synthetic fibres trap moisture between the fibres, wool absorbs it away from your horse and insulates against both cold and heat to help prevent the back muscles from overheating. 

Neck Covers Available. Available from 5'9 UK (4'3 NZ) to 7'6 UK (6'0 NZ).

Same Day Despatch

Orders placed before 12pm GMT (Monday–Friday) are despatched the same day.

Orders placed before 12pm Friday will normally be delivered the following Monday (Mainland UK).
Weekend orders ship on Monday.

UK Delivery (Mainland, Highlands & NI)

We use DPD and Royal Mail for all UK deliveries.

  • Mainland UK: DPD Next Day Service – normally next working day.

  • Highlands, Northern Ireland & Scottish Isles: DPD Two-Day Service (flat rate).

  • Royal Mail Tracked 48: For parcels under 3 kg, same flat rate anywhere in the UK.

DPD pricing varies by weight and location. Royal Mail pricing is fixed nationwide.

Europe Delivery (DHL or FedEx)

Most European orders arrive in 3–5 working days.

  • UK orders: VAT is added automatically at checkout.

  • Orders outside the UK: No VAT is charged at checkout.

  • DHL (DDP): Duties and taxes pre-paid at checkout — no extra charges on delivery.

  • FedEx (DDU): Shipping price only. Duties and taxes will be invoiced separately by FedEx during delivery.

International rates are live-fed directly from FedEx at checkout.

Swaps & Returns

At AniMac, you can shop with confidence.
If your item isn’t right — whether it’s the wrong size or you’ve simply changed your mind — return it within 30 days in original, saleable condition.

Swaps (Exchanges):
The quickest way to exchange is to place a new order for the size you want and return the unwanted one for a refund.

Refunds:
Include a copy of your order paperwork when returning items so we can process your refund quickly.
