Back length: Measure from the base of the neck to the top of the tail.

If you're in between sizes, for sheep with solid build it's best to go up one size.

If you're in between sizes, for sheep with narrow build it's best to go down one size.

Important – fit on small or fine-boned sheep
These coats are designed for standard to broad-framed sheep. On very small, fine-boned, or narrow-necked sheep, the neck opening may be generous and a close fit may not be achievable without alteration.

*Our sizing chart is a guide only, as sheep and lambs vary greatly in weight, frame, and breed type. Fleece length can significantly affect measurements — a freshly shorn sheep will measure smaller than the same animal in full fleece. Please keep this in mind when selecting a coat size.
